Mr. and Mrs. Hancock Wedding Established 11.19.2022

My FIRST wedding to photograph and design the floral arrangements. Holy cow, how exciting! Where to even begin with these two amazing individuals. Two of my childhood best friends married each other. How EXCITING!

I was truly honored to be asked to create the florals for my dear friend Heather's wedding. We had the best time shopping for her silk florals. As a florist, if the clients wants to be apart of the designing process I will definitely let them tag along. When we first started planning the Hancock wedding florals little did I know that I would also be the photographer of the wedding.

I found out about two weeks before the wedding that the original photographer would be unable to photograph the wedding due to a sickness. My sweet friend reached out and asked if I would be able to shoot her wedding. Now at this point in my life I have photographed many events and felt confident that I could tackle photographing a wedding. How nerve racking and exciting that my friend trusted me to photograph and design her wedding florals.

Okay enough back story. Let's look at the photographs and florals! Below are a few of my favorites from their wedding day! So blessed to be able to do what I love! -Haley

the details

I absolutely LOVE the detail parts of weddings. This is a time for the bride and groom personality to shine through. A unique twist to signing a guest book-the bride and groom requested each guest to highlight their favorite Bible verse.

wedding florals

The bride's favorite color is PINK. I love pink too! The wedding season being in the fall is not a normally pink themed. We crafted a color scheme that would incorporate the bride's favorite color and fall colors. The bride requested silk floral arrangements have a keepsake item to remember her special day.

getting ready

The bride had the best morning getting all glammed up with her ladies! Meanwhile the groom decided he needed a quick haircut before he ties the knot.

Father daughter reveal

This part always makes me CRY! How sweet, this bride got to make both of her dad's cry.

the ceremony

The bride and groom wanted a unique twist to the "flower girl" tradition. They had a flower dude. He even had a fanny pack full of flowers. How fun! My favorite part of the ceremony is after the officiant announces the happy couple! You can always see the shear excitement in their faces!

Bridal Party/family photos

This can be a VERY chaotic time! Make sure your photographer has a list before the wedding day. This helps keep everyone on your wedding day schedule. Some bride/grooms do a first look and take the wedding party photos before the ceremony. Others wait until after the ceremony. This couple wanted to wait until after the ceremony.

mr & Mrs photos

ALWAYS ALWAYS make sure to set aside time on your wedding day to have photos of the two of you. Enjoy this time! It's a great way to take a moment away from the craziness of the day.
